"That's what I like about guns, Vinnie. As an animal of this Earth, you can go one out of the two ways of life: you can be feral, and join your brotherhood in the wilderness or be someone's pet cat, dedicating a life of carefree do-nothing. Or, you can adapt that other half of your brain and go sentient. That's what I did, that's what a lot of us are doing; do-nothings don't amount to anything in life, unless they don't mind living off of milk and being abused by their owners. It's interesting how our economy is balanced the animals with guns and animals who go by pure born'n'bred instinct." - Patrick

"...Pat, it was a Le Mat. I didn't give a damn about animal economy and politics other than I could very well have been shot anywhere. My father brought one home and said it did better justice than his own weapons, hence, he kept one after battle once when I was small." - Vinnie

Other than the fact this page is disappointingly short, there was one thing that left me frustrated for awhile. xD ...and it's more along the lines of common sense.

I was hoping to have Vinnie get shot on the shoulder, and I was close about doing that to up the ante and just raise the stakes then and there, but then, when I was feeling oh-so-proud of myself, I dared to look at Google to see if this would make any sense. It didn't. Being shot anywhere would be lethal no matter how it was done, and anything like being grazed on the shoulder would've killed Vinnie. Obviously, he's alive in the present day, so leaps of logic would be difficult in one way or another.

Rather than look stupid, I went back and revised the course of the comic to something that would be more... well, sensical. I guess this may probably be the only time I actually resorted to TVTropes to guide me. I generally don't like that site as they pretty much find faults and make up newer faults for just about everything in fiction, but I guess in a sense, they're there to keep people in the know for mistakes like the one I was about to make.

Those two remind me of character from Basil the Great Mouse Detective. A shot would've added an intensity but it's still a good page!

Hehe, thank you. :3 Great Mouse Detective is one of my many inspirations! It's such a delightful film, one of Disney's often overlooked.

True indeed. :3 This is one of my favorite pages. X3
