Patrick has an element which is to have pit-stops all around London, all of which served as safe-houses. They would all be used only once a day, rarely twice, and were built to be dummies/fakes to avoid cops on the run. Even the safe was a lie: someone could look at it as something elaborate, given it's elaborate and fancy design - only to unlock it, and probably find, say, a "I DID IT FOR THE LULZ" letter on Pat's behalf.

No one knows London better than Patrick knows London.
