As I understood it-- I rushed through a huge rock between a wall of four grass blades upon noticing she had jumped on the weasel's nose. Funday rode it like a bull, holding on tight before letting go within mere moments... Milon the bat had, tired as he was, taken a sweep down in an attempt to beat them towards the fall only to be grabbed by the foot by the teenage girl who'd been picked up with them.
Dragged down quicker, Milon let out a yelp, repeatedly howling, 'No, no, no, no!' For every flap to stay in the air, they remained steady for less than a split fragment of a second before gradually drooping down once more. Funday flipped over in circular rotation, finally coming down back first.
Joining everyone's freebird nature that night, I leapt forward in an attempt to grab her back with the intent to soften the fall. I could only go so far as to have reach her shoulders just as her legs were kicking mid-air. Lord be praised, she kicked up her feet the moment I touched her... just in the knick of time for the orphan to grab her feet. I collided into her back, just burying myself deep into the dirt to eventually play bedside matress to the falling tramp rodent. The orphan and Milon were able to float just a bit again to keep her steady and ease her down, but I wouldn't say by very much...
I don't think any one of us were feeling any better than we could have if we let Funday to her death; I felt crushed, swallowing up dirt and coughing rocks out for some time... everyone was, for lack of a better phrase, broken." - Marie

I hope that all made some sense, lol. xD I kinda pulled this one out since I've been stretched from project to project this last week, but if it works for you, it certainly works for me... ^^;;
