This is a huge and drastic revision of the 'Keeping Up with Thursday' Issue 2 cover, from 2011. After talking with longtime fan and good friend :iconsirquacky: it became apparent that the original only briefly touched the main focus of the comic, and really didn't correlate with the story. He suggested perhaps showing Patrick in different periods, and I decided to go visually alllll out with this one: we have, a photo of young Patrick, eager with his newfound possessions - an older, teenage Patrick confined in a little boarded up box (longtime fans will know this, newcomers will have to read to get it), and the Patrick - world-renowned of the present in 1894. We're looking at 1878, 1884, and 1894 respectfully.
Rather than follow the traditional fade-in like a comicbook cover most folks follow, I figured he'd be looking at his life in retrospective on the table: a photograph, a little mirror, and himself. It's tough to be on top when you've already got the world swinging from your fingertips and so much potential: that fear of being tired, people after you in all kinds, and it can only decay from there if he doesn't step up to his game... it's sorta like Batman, in a sense.
Pat on the bottom left never looked so clear to me he could almost be from an actual cartoon. xD
So, thoughts?
